What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the revealed Word and will of God, given to mankind for the purpose of instructing us in the things God desires us to know and do, and is the key to receiving salvation. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 & 2 Peter 1:19-21

We believe that due to the fall of man (Adam), all mankind is under the guilt and power of sin as a result of this act. Mankind was left in a state that ended in death for every man. See Genesis 3:1-24 & 1 Corinthians 15:20-26.

We believe that God's plan to save mankind was to send His only son to redeem mankind from the curse of sin (death) and to give all mankind a chance to obtain eternal life and receive power to live a victorious life. See Romans 3:21-26, Romans 10:8-13, 1 Peter 1:17-21, & Galatians 3:13-14.

We believe that when we are baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ that we are saved, we obtain our inheritance of being sons and daughters of God (God's children) by adoption as well as heirs of the promises of God. See Galatians 3:22 to 4:7, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 10:34-46, John 1:12, Romans 10:9-10.

We believe that when we receive the "new birth", the gift of holy spirit, that the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man for his profit and the profit of the church. The new born man or woman has the God given ability to manifest all nine (9) parts of the new birth. See1 Corinthians 12:7-11.

We believe that the Church to which believers today belong began on the day of Pentecost and will end with a Rapture of all Christians. This will be followed by a period of tribulation for Israel and then Christ's thousand year reign on Earth. The "Mystery" revealed in Ephesians is that those from both Jew and Gentile would be joint heirs, joint partakers and members of a joint body. This "Mystery" was not revealed in the Old Testament, the Gospels or the Book of Revelation. It was first made revealed to the Apostle Paul by revelation from God. The Epistles, Romans through Thessalonians make up the core of Scripture written to the Church. We believe that Jesus Christ will return to gather together his church, the body of Christ, prior to the tribulation and that we will always be with the Lord. See 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, Mark 13:24-27, Daniel 7:13-14, Luke 17:22-36, & John 14:1-4.

We believe that God, the Creator, and Father of Jesus Christ, is "the only true God" , holy and separate from all His creation. He is a personal God who has revealed Himself to us in writing (the Bible). John 17:3
