God Confirms The Words Of Sons And Daughters And Answers Them Even Before They Ask Him For Anything.

In the Old testament God confirmed the words of His servants and carries out the counsel of His messengers. This was the promise to servants and as sons we have not only this promise, but to a greater degree. Jesus in teaching the disciples and the apostles told them, using an actual mountain as an example, that if they literally told the mountain to jump into the sea - did not doubt in the inner most part of themselves (heart) - believed that what they said would happen - they would have "whatever" (whatever means whatever, no exception implied) they said. That when we pray for things, to believe we already have the things we ask for and we will have them. This promise of God's power to answer to the needs of His children was foretold in prophecy before Jesus' ministry, the availability of God's power to all who believe after His resurrection. The promise in Isaiah 65 "before they call I will answer and while they are speaking I will hear" came to be ours as sons and daughters of God to walk confidently in. Paul in Ephesians tells us the God is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all (All - no exception stated) that we ask or think - according to the "power" that works in us (Holy Spirit). As God's children, our Father loves us and cares for us to the point that all we have to do is simply think of something we would like to have or something we need and before we even think to pray about our request to Him in the name of Jesus Christ, He provides it for us.

_1 Samuel 3:19 And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground."_
_Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; 25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; 26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:"_
_Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have
_Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear."_
_Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."_

Signs & Wonders Proof In The Five Senses World Of The Actuality Of The Existance Of God.

In the Old Testament times signs and wonders were God's method of establishing proof to people of His existance and His power. People realized by the things that God performed that there was no other God who could do the things He did and they did not doubt the words He gave to His servants to speak. Even the King of Babylon, Darius, proclaimed to the people of his kindom that the God of Daniel is a living God who will last forever and who works signs and wonders in the heavens and the earth. He instructed all men of his kingdom to worship God ("fear & trembling").
_Deuteronomy 6:22 And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes"_
_Daniel 6:25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. 26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. 27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."_

Jesus taught the apostles and disciples what they could expect in the way of abilities that would be made available to them after he had gone to be with God, our Father. The promise is specifically addressed to "he (or she) that believes on me (Jesus Christ)" the works that I do (raise the dead, heal the sick, cause the blind to see, calm a storm at sea, cast out devil spirits, change water to wine, feed 5000 with a few small fish and a few loaves of bread, ect.) absolutely will he (he who believes) do because Jesus would be with his Father. There is very little limitation on the power available to us through Christ Jesus as stated twice (established as unchangeable truth), whatever asked in the name of Jesus Christ (vrs.13) and if you ask anything in my name "Jesus Christ" (vrs.14) . . . I will do it. The power we have available to us as sons and daughters of God, in the name of Jesus Christ, goes beyond comprehension and beyond what some in the church propound as presently available to us. When we look at this promise as it literally speaks to us from God's Word, we can realize that with God all things are not only possible, but available to us also in the name of Jesus Christ.
_John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."_

Jesus, in giving the Great Commission, said to go and preach the gospel to the whole world and baptize them. That signs would follow believers to confirm the Word of God spoken by them - they would cast out devils, they would speak in tongues, heal the sick, etc. And, verse 20 of Mark 16 says they preached everywhere and God confirmed their words with signs and wonders. Makes you wonder about the church today doesn't it - are the words your preacher is speaking being confirmed with signs and wonders, or are you wondering where the signs and wonders are that were promised by Jesus prior to his resurrection?
_Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen."_

Time after time after time in the record of the first century church God always confirmed His Word taught with signs and wonders. Lets look at the examples.
_Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles."_
_Acts 4:30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus."_
_Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch."_
_Acts 8:13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done."_
_Acts 14:3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands."_
_Romans 15:19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ."_
_2 Corinthians 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds."_
_Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?"_
It was an ongoing and proven promise to the body of Christ, the church, that when God's Word was taught that it was to be expected that God would bear the teaching of His Word witness, by not only signs and wonders but with vasious kinds of miracles. We know that it was not just the apostles that this confirmation of the Word taught happened becaus of the record of the disciple Philip having the Word of God he taught confirmed by God.

The promises of God, for our benefit gives God the glory and credit for the things that are done. God glorious grace is shown by His: making all grace abound to us; the exceeding greatness of His power is toward us who believe; that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we aks or think according to His power that works in us; We can do All things through Christ who strengthens us; we are stronger that the devil and his servants because of the power of God in Christ in us. We are, in the weakness of our mortal bodies, given this treasure of power from God as a witness of His truth, so that it is evident that the power is not of our own, that it is in truth the power of God confirming His Word. Only when man is determinied to do things for his own glory is there a failure of God to confirm His Word with signs and wonders. As long as we stay true to God and acknowledge Him as the source of all power and victory in this life, He will continue to inspire us and will confirm all that we teach of Him and His word in the ministry of reconciliation He has given to each of us. He Will confirm with signs, wonders, miracles, all the works of Jesus Christ and greater works, through us to the glory of God.
_1 John 4:4; "4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."_
_Romans 8:37; "37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."_
_Philippians 4:13; 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."_
_2 Corinthians 9:8; "8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:"_
_Ephesians 1:18-19; "18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,"_
_Ephesians 3:20; "20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"_
_2 Corinthians 4:7; "7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."_

As sons and daughters of God we need to have no fear. No Fear. Fear is what the world and the Devil uses to defeat us and stop our witness of the Word of God. Fear of what people will think, fear for our business being successful, fear of persecution, fear of what people will think if we stand for God's Word as it literally reads, fear of physical attack, etc. Even the "little" fears of worry and doubt are not to be allowed to hinder us either. Worry and doubt when grown up, end in the same thing. . . Fear. As it states in 1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:". A lion when it hunts, is not the swiftest animal at running down its prey, the lion uses a trick to its advantage. The trick is, that as its prey is running away the lion roars, the effect is that the prey in fear hears the roar and stops dead in its tracks to see what made the noise. That freeze up is what gives the lion the victory. Don't let the Devil's roar at you make you stop in your tracks and accept defeat out of fear. We are to fear no man, no one can stand against us as we stand on the Word of God. The new birth we have received from God, being filled with the Spirit, is the Spirit of Adoption, it is the Spirit of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind...NO fear. We can and must confess the God is our helper and we will not fear what any man might try to do to us.
_Deuteronomy 11:25; "25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you."_
_Romans 8:15; "15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."_
_2 Timothy 1:7; "7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."_
_Hebrews 13:6; "6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."_

As Sons and Daughters of God, it is our responsibility to hold out the Word of God to the world. We are to speak God's word with sincerity and love to fulfil the ministry of reconciliation that God has committed to each and everyone of us who believe. When we speak forth the Word of God with sincerity, God will confirm by signs and wonders the message we preach with sincerity. If you preach the gospel with monitary gain or recognition of men as your primary motives, don't expect confirmation of your teaching. When the Word taught is inspired by God through the Holy Spirit, and spoken by men and women of God who are walking by the Spirit as the sons and daughters of God, the Word of God taught will be confirmed by signs, wonders, and miracles with God receiving the glory for the things done.

Do you believe God's Word, Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Well if you believe, and you have received Jesus Christ as your lord and savior...You are a "son of God." As sons & daughters of God we should not just believe for a miracle or expect a miracle to come along sometime, we should be walking in the power of God by the Spirit and having miracles confirming the ministry of reconciliation we have received from God, as we function in the body of Christ. We will see the power of God working in our lives for our good and the good of our fellow believers. We are truly more that conquerors, we can do all things in Christ, we are God's lights in the world, and we can hold forth the lifeline of the Word of God to bring deliverance to others. We have as it has been said before "We have nothing to fear but fear itself." Walk out with the sword of the Spirit , the Word of God fearlessly and you will live a victorious life in Christ.
